Block 4 Recap
I’m pretty sure I got more sleep this week than I have in a long time. I slept in till 8:00am every day for 7 straight days! I haven’t done that since high school! With the continual increase in training volume, I know that my body needs more and more rest to compensate for the energy expenditure, so I don’t really feel guilty about it.
My feet are really starting to kill me. I did an easy 8 mile run today, and ended up with 2 blood blisters, one on each pinky toe. I thought about snapping a shot of those, but then decided to spare you all the images :). Anyway, I know that blisters are usually a sign that I need a new pair of shoes! I’ve been running on KSWISS Kwicky Blade-Lights, and I absolutely LOVE them. But, I’ve also been thinking about giving Newtons a try, any opinions on that?
Lastly, I got a free shipment of some FRS samples, all I had to do was pay shipping! I’m very interested in giving this stuff a try. Hope it’s not a gimmick.

Block 5 starts Monday with a 4000 meter swim and 5 mile run.
